Give me your predictions for the 2001 season.
Here is my synopisis:
Sept. 1 UT 21 Syracuse 7 Tenn. gets the passing game going early which opens up the running game in the 2nd half. Tenn. defense gives up late TD.
Sept. 8 UT 21 at Arkansas 7 Arkansas comes out fired up but UT puts the clamp down and wins at Ark.
Sept. 15 UT 17 at Florida 21 UT establishes the run early. Clausen experiences what Peyton Manning did. Florida comes back in the 2nd half and rallies to win.
Sept. 29 UT 24 LSU 10 It's payback for last year. UT strikes quickly and LSU never recovers.
Oct. 6 UT 31 Georgia 13 Payback #2. Quincy Carter is gone and so are the bulldogs in Knoxville.
Oct. 20 UT 28 at Alabama 17 Bama is put on probation but still gives UT fits until UT pulls away with J-Train.
Oct. 27 UT 24 S. Carolina 17 Lou Holtz tries to pull another upset, but comes up short again.
Nov. 3 UT 21 at Notre Dame 17 ND keeps it close, but UT and Clausen are too much.
Nov. 10 UT 24 Memphis 7 (HC) Memphis is not afraid of UT like in past years. But there are no miracles on Home coming.
Nov. 17 UT 34 at Kentucky 13 Kentucky goes down once again. Lorenzen is good for his size, but UT defense keeps him at bay.
Nov. 24 UT 21 Vanderbilt 7 Vandy plays tough again for 3 quarters, but J-Train runs off the track and has a 200 yard day.
Prediction: 10-1 Bowl Game: BCS TBD
Awfully hard to beat UF at the swamp. If UT defense shuts down UF offense and UT can run the ball and not have any turnovers, UT can win. The question is will J-Train and Cedric Houston play?
